Kerala floods: UAE extends aid of ₹700 crore for reconstruction

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has guaranteed a help of ₹700 crore for Kerala's reproduction exertion.

Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander Sheik Mohammad Bin Syed Al Nahyan has imparted this to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan told journalists in Thiruvananthapuram.

Mr. Vijayan expressed gratitude toward UAE president Sheik Khalifa canister Syed Al Nahyan, the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince, and Vice President and Prime Minister Sheik Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum for the liberal signal.

The UAE government had imparted the choice to give help to Kerala when Gulf-construct industrialist M.A.Yusuffali called with respect to the Crown Prince.

"For Malayalis, the Gulf was a second home and the ties amongst Malayalis and Gulf countries was profoundly passionate. The offer of help mirrored the worry that Gulf countries had for Kerala and Malayalis," the Chief Minister said.
